Gaëlle THIBAUDAT
Deaf video game developer
My name is Gaëlle and I was born deaf into a deaf family in the heart of the French Alps. My passion for video games emerged early on in my childhood, when I was playing the big grayish computer, which inspired me to study in the field of technology. Trained at an engineering school focusing on electronics and computer science, I chose to specialize further by taking a double degree in computer science with the specialization of video games. I'm determined to use my skills in video game design to enlighten the video game industry with diverse, inclusive and interactive experiences, highlighting the deaf community. I'm interested in the idea of making games inclusive and accessible to all, by working on the necessary design and tools . I'm ready to invest my know-how and energy to create virtual experiences where everyone, regardless of their abilities.
